Privacy Policy
We do not receive your tool content. Here is exactly what that means, in plain language.
The short version: ToolsSonic.com does not receive the content you put into our tools. Formatting, converting, hashing, and validating all happen inside your browser. There is no upload endpoint, no account system, and no analytics that read what you type. You can verify this yourself: open your browser's Network tab and use any tool — your content generates no requests.
What we do not collect
We do not collect, receive, store, transmit, sell, or share:
- the text, code, JSON, files, tokens, keys, or any other content you paste into or load into a tool;
- the results those tools produce;
- your name, email address, or payment details (we have no accounts and take no payments);
- behavioural profiles of your activity inside a tool.
Because this data never reaches us, we cannot access it, disclose it, lose it in a breach, or be compelled to hand it over.
What stays on your device
Some tools remember things using your own browser's storage (localStorage and sessionStorage) so they are still there when you return: your light or dark theme preference; recent inputs or session history in tools that offer it; and saved snippets or collections you explicitly create. This data never leaves your device, is not readable by us, and is deleted when you clear your browser's site data for toolssonic.com.
Information our hosting provider processes
Like every website, serving pages requires a network request. Our hosting and content-delivery provider automatically processes standard technical data in order to deliver the site and protect it from abuse: IP address, browser and user-agent string, the page requested, the referring page, and a timestamp. This is ordinary server-log data, it is not linked by us to any identity, and it is never combined with anything from inside our tools. Where the GDPR applies, the legal basis for this processing is our legitimate interest in operating and securing the website.
Cookies and analytics
ToolsSonic.com sets no advertising cookies and no cross-site tracking cookies. The only browser storage we use is the functional storage described above, which you control.
If we introduce analytics, we will use a privacy-respecting, aggregate-only service that never records tool content, and we will state it on this page before enabling it. If we ever introduce advertising, it will be contextual — based on the topic of the page rather than on you — we will update this policy first, and we will provide consent controls where the law requires them.
Sharing by link
Some tools can create a share link. The data is encoded inside the link itself, in the URL fragment after the # character. URL fragments are never transmitted to servers, so we do not receive shared content. However, anyone you send the link to can read it — treat share links as public and never use them for sensitive data.
Third parties
We do not sell or share personal information. We rely on a hosting and content-delivery provider to serve the site, and we may link to third-party websites such as GitHub; their own policies apply once you leave ToolsSonic.com.
Children
ToolsSonic.com is a general-purpose developer utility and is not directed at children under 13 (or under 16 in some regions). We do not knowingly collect information from children.
Your rights
Depending on where you live — under the GDPR and UK GDPR, the California Consumer Privacy Act as amended, India's Digital Personal Data Protection Act, and similar laws — you may have rights to access, correct, delete, or port your personal data, and to object to its processing.
In practice there is normally nothing for us to act on, because we do not hold your tool content and we do not maintain an account profile for you. For questions or requests relating to server-log data, contact admin@toolssonic.com and we will respond within the period the applicable law requires.
International use
ToolsSonic.com is available worldwide and served from a global content-delivery network. Because your tool content is processed only on your own device, it is not transferred internationally by us.
Changes to this policy
If this policy changes materially we will update the "Last updated" date above and, for significant changes, note it on the site. Continued use after an update means you accept the revised policy.
